Sylvester Stallone & Dolph Lundgren Train For Creed 2 In Jaw Dropping Workout Video

The action movie veteran, 71-year-old Sylvester Stallone used shared a video on social media in which he was seen doing pull-ups with an extra 100 lbs weight tied to his body, and the 60-year-old Dolph Lundgren also shared a 6-minute video clip of his workout regime. The two senior actors are apparently very serious about their upcoming film Creed 2 and are working hard enough to embarrass people half their age. It was revealed by Michael B. Jordan during his Black Panther promotions that Creed 2 was set to start production soon.

For someone who was falsely declared dead sometime back, Sylvester Stallone looks fantastic. The legendary actor showcased his pull-up ability by sharing the video of social media, and it gives the impression of a modest bragging. The fierce pull-ups and the extra 100 lbs. of weight was accompanied by a caption from Stallone, “Another easy workout! You’re only as old as you and your joints feel! LOL.” Well, that workout was anything, but, easy.

Dolph Lundgren is not much younger, and the 60-year old actor created a 6-minute compilation of the great work that he is doing to prepare for Creed 2. He is seen with a personal trainer who is pushing Lundgren and correcting his posture as well as weightlifting style. Although there were rumors recently about Sylvester Stallone’s death, Lundgren had undergone double hip replacements six months back. However, there is no way you can figure that out by looking at the way he is training. The actor can be seen undertaking some extreme training and that too quite comfortably. In fact, he even cracked an Arnold Schwarzenegger joke towards the end of the clip.

Sylvester Stallone wrote a version of the screenplay for Creed 2 last year, and now he has been working in tandem with CheoHodari Coker to create the final version. Stallone was initially supposed to direct the movie, but, later an announcement was made about Steven Caple Jr. taking over the directorial duties. Ryan Coogler had made the first Creed film, and in response to a question why he didn’t join the sequel, Coogler said that it was the lack of time. The studio started work on Creed 2 when Coogler was busy with Black Panther. Therefore, things couldn’t have worked out.

Dolph Lundgren had debuted as Ivan Dragon in the Rocky IV film in 1985. He is now coming back to reprise his role. The Romanian heavyweight boxer Florian Munteanu will play the character of Drago’s son in Creed 2, and he would be taking on Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed. Sylvester Stallone had remarked earlier, “It wouldn’t be a party without Drago, would it?” while replying to a question related to Lundgren’s return. Stallone further stated. “I’m gonna punch him. You know I gotta hit Drago once.” With the impressive and fierce training that we saw in the clips, it is evident that Creed 2 will have a fair bit of punching depicted.
