James Cameron’s Terminator 6 With Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Not Looking In Good Shape

It had been revealed that Terminator 6 would start its shooting by spring of 2018 and it is now confirmed by the actor himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger that the production would start a little later. Schwarzenegger was at the 30th Anniversary celebration of The Arnold Classic, and he had given an update on the movie, Terminator 6 and he had also revealed that the filming would start by summer.

“We are starting to shoot Terminator 6 in June to the middle of October, so I am in that. I am looking forward to coming back as the T-800 model. It’s gonna be great with Tim Miller as the director and Jim Cameron is kind of supervising the whole thing.”

Last year, Paramount had given a July 26, 2019, release date for Terminator 6 and later, Universal Pictures gave a July 26, 2019, release date for a Fast & Furious Spin-off which would star Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. Paramount has not yet issued a release date for Terminator 6, but there are speculations that the release may be pushed to 2019. This will get Terminator 6 out of the way of the Fast & Furious Spin-Off.

Arnold’s bold confirmation about the shooting reaches us after a few rumors had claimed that the movie’s production will ould be pushed to May or June and would go on until November. This report had said that the filming of the movie will take place in Mexico, Spain, the U.K., and Budapest, but Schwarzenegger had not confirmed any locations for the filming. It was confirmed that Schwarzenegger would be reuniting with Linda Hamilton, (Sarah Connor) in the film and would be a sequel to James Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This will be ignoring all events of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator: Salvation and Terminator: Genisys.

The actor mentioned that Robert Patrick would not come back as the T-1000 although he has mentioned that he wanted to return. A report in February had revealed a few unconfirmed details about this film’s protagonist, Dani Ramos. She is a woman who is in her 20s and comes from Mexico City. She is street smart and has a strong belief in family and the ability to be positive. There are no indications as of now about how this character will fit into the story-line and who would play her.
